A different story

"I smile, I smirk, I laugh ,I wink The mirror gives it all back to me. "

I had this one Notorious looking Man  telling me 'Let me eve-tease you' @ bus after college, for which i jumped back and 'dint slap but' shooed him away. Thanks To my senses that I could react. Then at a shop I saw myself helping the shopkeeper to put the bundle of my items in an extra bag which he was struggling to do single handed. May be some other place and other time i would have had simply watched him doing that without offering my willing hand at work. I , who wakes up extremely late (when compared to others early risers) woke up @ 6 to fetch water with Mom , because we were short of the supply . I go buy milk.........                                                   paid electricity/phone bills.. this was something which I never did. All because my Pa isn't home.. this much work a very little of what his share was at home makes me feel so proud of what I dd ..  I PAID TH BILLS.. as though it was my moneyI used for that . I am waiting for him to be back, I miss his songs which irritated me out of my bed early morning and his driving.. I have to take bus to colg and i am late always ;)

Each day situations are different and when same situation hit back the reactions are very different. I myself am weiry of crossing the road but when I  have some friend of mine who is more tensed than I am from somehwre I get Confidence and we both find ourselves safe at the other end of the road. But with someone with greater level I stay behind .

Now this accounts for an inferiority complex that I have or is it a symptom of Split personality at different road crossing.

Few acts of my own are sometimes so new and pride-worthy that gives me happiness and others are at the height of silliness that I feel child-like. Perhaps , this mixed behaviour is what we call Life and the circumstances! or is it that I am guided to do what is wrong when things are right and to take the right steps amidst blunders.

What I am having is Fun with life and  a funny life. I am model of inspiration and an object of humor.

I am River and I am a Lake.. Polluted or not is not to be disclosed (Govt takes heavy duty charges on that).

I am A forest fire and A candle in the dark.

Tame me or find Fame in me.. all will happen with your spark~

That Unfamiliar Territory

It took a flash of a secondary minute for me to notice an unfamiliar emotion which pierced.. oh no~ not pierced make that or take that as a softer phrase which i am unable to phrase through my emotional bank .. my heart and left its features for me to  feel that happiness, that untouched moment and unknown twinkling (of eyes) on its reminiscense.

It was a Day not very long ago when I sat with a very  dear friend of mine and as the talks unpacked into an unexpected  flow of words which came unrestricted I saw that light .. which told me that yes it is a virtue to be a good listener , to make people feel they are being listened to and to let that feeling reach through the presence of soul and not mere physical existence of 2 healthy ears!! It takes patience and good amount of time to know and listen to somebody and one thing I have learned in the whole game ,You will be valued if you sit up and listen -respond-(suggest)-listen

A long time passed since I graduated in the field of being a good listener.. I have only been listening.. now nobody keeps quite and lets me do the talking and even if I start I end in getting my sentences cut for the unfinished thought my dear speaker had. Yet all this is interesting...

Even in the absence of a non-listener to you .. you find unknowingly a good friend. and it is all that matters.. you can always mould him/her to listen to you ! Now that seems a fabulous idea !!!!

Warning ! :: Keeping quite all the time can be dangerous to health as your friend might mistake you to be sleeping with open eyes!

P.S. Don't let others do the listening all the time.. sometimes it is good to let the tongue rest and ears vibrate !

Being Unhappy

It is happiness that pushes us to live and sadness that drives us to live.

I guess it was when I was sad that I struggled myself to live a life , made a point clear in the inner self inside of the deep inside that I shall Die while I am alive,

Sadness isnt so very bad as it seems to be when it passes your space , but once it has passes it gives you a reason to smile ... be happy and laugh on the unhappy moments and feel proud of the successes you gained after the bouts of unhappiness.

Sadness comes from varied reasons, those which are due to the uncontrolled mistakes or lazy mistakes you commit are the ones which hurts and leave behind there footprints for us to mark them so that the life's map doesnt follow that route again and even if it does it is with carefull eyeing on the pothholes in the road.

What it takes .. to say YES

Hell! oh no no Heaven.. it is heavenly to be centre of a discussion , to be persistently be persuaded by people for a particular thing, to get all the attention available in the market!
Some great men ! accepted a statement : A man is no Man who cannot say No , and I accepted it full heartedly and said NO to a situation that requires my yes , and now the value for money has risen that if sold now this can bring tremendous change in the stock exchange of my dilaptidated life . It takes immense strength to say NO and it is all the more demanding when it comes to agreement because then the Memorandum of understanding says .. you are supposed to be "fairly-biased" to the YES receiver whatevr be the change in the climate surrounding you.
I said yes ! to my teacher on her statement which demands me to Get Set Go and Study ! and make justice to the intellect I am gifted with. I said Yes, butthen I slept that day to my fullest and days thereafter have gone in dreams of that achievment which I acceptd to bring.I shall I shall , I can bring that beautiful change to my schedule and bring that necessary change, but this necessity makes me wonder.. whether there should happen some invention because my Grade 3 or perhaps 4 knowledge says Necessity is the mother of all inventions . Whether this silly human being makes any invention or some discovery happens is thouroughly depended on the performance in the subject examination.. But I am hopefully guessing that
Everything will be allright at the end of the day

PS: I dont repent saying yes , it wasnt a work hard. but it seems now it is time for me to Work Hard ...
Till then
Practice saying NO NO No oooo .. zzzzzzzzz

Darwin Day @ College

As the Global Scientific community celebrates the year of 200th birthday
of Charles Robert Darwin,an English naturalist; who realised and demonstrated that all species of life have evolved over time from common ancestors through the process he called natural selection , My College celebrated the bicentenary of this enthusiastic scientist in its own amusing and edifying line.
On 12th February 2009, the college hosted the birthday celebrations of Darwin. The program was convened jointly by the Zoology, Botany and Biomedical Science Departments. Our Principal Dr. Savithri Singh cut the cake on behalf of Darwin with “happy birthday”song playing in the background. Not only did the day bring knowledge on the subject of evolution but it also made few proud and well-liked movie-makers.

A scientist refers to any person that engages in a systematic activity to acquire knowledge; The same idea stood right for the students of the college when they experimented and evolved into well liked movie makers and presented their
brainchild – a movie each, relating to the theme of the day “Evolution”.
A movie presenting Darwin’s life by Ankit , followed a short movie on Galapagos Islands created by Debadityo and a compilation in a movie format on Future of Human Evolution by me, Vandana and Ankit followed the course. The presentations created by the three students of biomedical sciences happened under the supervision of Mrs. Sunita Jetly. The movies made by the students were an initiative well appreciated by other students and teachers alike. Each presentation touched upon the varied aspects of the process of
developing - evolution... Darwin’s life story was news to many, the Galapagos Islands showing the animals Darwin studied and the deliberation of evolutionary trends of the human kind was a warm effort of the students to bring out the past and make way for future parleys.

This exciting educational ride was then concluded with a Darwin Quiz where 5 teams competed among themselves to prove to the quizzers who stand best when it comes to Darwin Day. Team which won the first prize;was given a copy each of Origin of Species; the famous book by Charles Darwin contemplating his theories on the fundamentals of Evolution.
The celebrations ended with a round of refreshments, arranged by Dr. Rajeshwari, where the students appreciated there being Homo sapiens for the relishing pastries.

Future Of Human Evolution: compiled from Internet

Scientists are fond of running the evolutionary clock backward, using DNA analysis and the fossil record to figure out when our ancestors stood erect and split off from the rest of the primate evolutionary tree. But the clock is running forward as well. So where are humans headed?

The earth has been capable of supporting life for about 3 billion years, and is expected to continue being able to support life for about 5 billion years in the future. Thus if we view the period of being able to support life as 24 hours, then we are now about 9 o'clock in the morning, humans diverged from the apes about a minute ago and the human species started to exist 1-2 seconds ago.
The average life span of a species on earth is a few million years. Every year, thousands of species cease to exist and thousands of new species are created. Will thus the human species cease to exist in a few million years, like most other animals? If so, why, and what will replace it? Or are humans so unique and different from other species, that experience from other species cannot be applied, and humans may continue to exist for a much longer time?
Humans differ so much from other species, that human future development may not be governed by the same principles as other animals. [Miller 2004] says that humans and human society should be seen as a fourth system of structured energy, Tetrology, different from the previous atomic, chemical and biological systems.
Miller says that humans differ in the use of advanced technology, use of controlled energy, use of clothes, use of sense-enhancements like glasses, telescopes or microscopes, advanced social organization, advanced language.
On the other hand, it is apparent that many typical animal behaviors also occur in humans, as has been pointed out by [Morris 1967-1997] and [Diamond 1993]. Humans have a mating behavior and an aggressive behavior which is obviously inherited from our animal ancestors.
This is important when discussing the future of the human species, because humans may be so different that experience from animals cannot tell us anything about the future of Homo Sapiens

Homo Sapiens can evolve through natural selection or through breeding or genetic manipulation. Breeding and genetic manipulation is most probable for a few people in technically evolved countries.

Natural selection is most effective when many animals die before reproduction. Thus, natural selection is more effective in developing countries. In industrial countries, medical development allows most of those who would die to live and reproduce.

Speciation forms the bridge between the evolution of the populations and the evolution of the taxonomic diversity .the diversity of organisms is the consequence of CLADOGENESIS , the branching or multiplication of the lineages , each of which then evolves(by ANAGENESIS, or evolution within species) along its own path. Each branching point in the great phylogenetic tree of the life marks a speciation event: the origin of two species from one. Many events in history of evolution are revealed to us only by virtue of speciation. If a single lineage evolves great changes but does not branch, the record of all steps toward its present form is erased , unless they can be found in fossil record. But if the lineage branches frequently, and if intermediate stages of a character are retained in some branches that survive to the present , then the history of the evolution of the feature may be represented , at least in part , among living species. The human species (Homo Sapiens sapiens) started its existence between 110 000 and 50 000 years ago. Its development diverged from the apes about 5 million years ago. In traditional classifications primate super family Hominoidea consists of three families: the gibbons (Hylobatidae), the human family (Hominidae), and the great apes (Pongidae). DNA sequence differences imply that the chimpanzees and human lineages diverged 5 to 6 million years ago. No chimpanzee fossils have been found, but hominin fossil are known from as far back as the late Miocence(The term “hominin” has been applied to the hominind that are the sister group of the chimpanzees).the hominin fossil record provides unequivocal evidence of general , more or less unidirectional trends in many characters, such as cranial capacity , a measure of brain size. It shows beyond any doubt that modern humans evolved through many intermediate steps from ancestors that in most anatomical respects were apelike throughout hominin evolution different hominin features evolved at different rates (“mosaic”evolution). On an average the brain sizes (cranial capacity) increased throughout hominin history, although not at a constant rate, and there were progressive changes from afarensis to africanus to erectus to sapiens, in many other features such as teeth, face, pelvis, hands, and feet.

Will Homo Sapiens Deteriorate
Some people say that the lack of effective natural selection for humans in industrial countries will cause the human species to deteriorate, since natural selection is needed to keep a species healthy. As a simple example, the existence of spectacles would cause more people to be born near sighted.
However, this is counteracted by immigration of people from less developed countries. This immigration is today so large, that it can probably counter the risk of deterioration of the species as a whole.
Also, future use of genetic manipulation and intentional breeding can be expected to counteract degradation.

Evolutionary development is sometimes thought of as exhibiting an inexorable trend towards higher, more complex, and normatively worthwhile forms of life. Can we trust evolutionary development to take our species in broadly desirable directions? Starting from primitive, unconscious life, biological evolution has led to the development of ever more advanced organisms, including creatures that have minds, consciousness, language, and reason. More recently, cultural and technological development, which exhibit some parallels with biological evolution, have enabled our species to progress at a vastly accelerated pace. The past few hundred years have seen enormous improvements in human life-span, labor productivity, scientific knowledge, and social and political organization, which have enabled billions of people to enjoy unprecedented opportunities for enjoyment and personal development. On a historical as well as on a geological timescale, the big picture shows an overarching trend towards increasing levels of complexity, knowledge, consciousness, and coordinated goal-directed organization, a trend which, not to put too fine a point on it, we may label “progress”.

Nourishing affair

Pastry hmm !!
The whole idea of food gets my salivary glands into action ! Food as a fifth grade student might describe is what satiates hunger and something which will make me taller and stronger!
(child ! perhaps you should go for Horlicks they claim for the same). Food is important for energy , for hunger and for party. The intake of of balanced diet ensures a healthy body and intake of diet (minus balanced) confirms a zippy mind.
Today bestowed upon me a groovy cut to gorge on a sweet little Pastry and chocolate eclair
delight to its real oomph! ah !! my neuroendocrine system is working real time hard to get that salivation done in the under parameters of crunch of aqua pura . This reminds me that our body is made of 60-70% of water where for an average man the outcome is approximately 42 liters , but the topic of concern here is (as raised in my class ) what when my classmate weighs only 42 kg.. is she wholly made of water.. hmm science always has exceptions it seems . it is unlikely for our "scientific exceptions" hypothesis to be true because the average man of whose 60% weight was 42 liters of water was of around 70 kg , Hence proved (I don't understand what).
I don't even remember now the reason for which I started this post and what message I intended to conclude it ;with all this diverting talks came into my thinking and I forgot to eat healthy to reserve a working brain! The punch here is that I am writing away the day's happenings relating to eating.. a long time affair I had with it and continue to be in love with this phenomena of taking down into my gastro- intestinal tract ; a delicious treat for my gastric enzymes to work on because they also deserve a prize for the hard work they undertake each day beginning form the morning sandwich to the evening supper; I indeed believe in distributing words and tokens of appreciation , this I do here with no selfishness and bringing myself on losing weightlessness (I was never weightless always had a few kilos up and down here and there) I think it is time again to get back to nourishment and to take back the brain to a state of happy glucose level b'cs it denies to script more of sensibilities .

Me ! The self starts here

Yeah The self Starts here !
I am a scientist by field of study . Nay ! am yet to get my degree.. in better words I am supposed to be a scientist in making. Like Amir Khan has Three Idiots his upcoming movie rolling cameras I have my Bachelors Degree rolling me to study and gather no mosses. in college i am a student (wow! now that seems interesting) member and secratary of the college eco club Paritantra. the whole craze (no craze, i am just concerned) started with my attending DYSoC '08 and there i got a offer to be a part of the agenda for survival course by CSE, later nobody ws volunteering for the post of president in the club i stood and on the day of election 3 more came in making me secretary .. it all happened by chance.. Presidential dreams got a secretary
posting .
I study Biomedical Science In DU and its one of the best ! From being a so so knowledge gainer in my first year I have upgraded my senses to be a above average knowlegde gainer and quiz participant who particpates to win a second at the least.. (provided my team mate knows the stuff)
In school (all girls) I remeber My classmate asking me for a joke b'cs I was supposed to be funny, the very first year in college brought all that fun out and I became stupid college goer who had no fun and no pun. studies went the wayJill went down the hill and I managed to pass I guess that was a First division (probably the last slot in that) I kind of promised my lil' self not to let History repeat.. and I found second year simpler and easy to handle.. had fun , made fun.. gained confidence ;made a presentation in a competition only to lose (but gained experience of losing perhaps..) But it nevr mattered I was loved and I loved all (all about friendship)
Studies became better this year (nay ! I am nt disclosing my grades) my mates in class are high on thinking be it biomedical studies or the usual fundoo analysis they gather distinctions in both.
And my personality :: Tall dashing ha ha ha !!
nope I am tall, true but let that dasing get identified with my brothers at work.. not describing my morphology; I am keen to enumerate my identifying features (characteristics)
A smile (genuinely) pasted ; helping (is it that choclate what I get in return!?), Caring(how sweet, one pice of that chocolate for you rest for me !), honest(truly , I ate only a piece of that chocolate(biggest piece though )), I am not the usual dieting kinds I eat well (not fat ; u know of my virtues I am honest)
We end here with the analysis of this indivual organism of species Homo sapiens
let us carry forward the tradition of blogging!
Jai Hind(Republic Day today)

On the Introductory note

This happens to be my very first post ; here the cause of my presence lies in proving the statement I have stated in the title of the blog "As I see it" the content to be proved is that I in reality see it ! and my vision comes by both means closed or open (eyes)
I am here to see how good I am or how bad I will be in writing my thoughts out and to come in face to face with the fact that :: Oh my god ! Jyoti thinks !
I am letting myself find a medium where I can spill out the thoughts I had for the day and what I might have in future days.. something like a cool personal diary with no personal details
or perhaps that something which makes nothing from anything ! The issues which strike me right on head and those issues which I want that others to get striked on for on their heads might get jotted down here; as part of a long journey which me and this sweet lil' site is starting today onwards.. and for as long as I love me !!
